Vote for Roxie Roll on March 3!

I ask for your support in the Republican Primary. If elected, I pledge to serve all the citizens of Fort Bend County by ensuring that your tax dollars are not wasted. As a practicing trial Attorney, CPA and a resident of Fort Bend County (Meadows) for 37 years, I am ever vigilant of finances and will consider my financial obligation to the citizens of Fort Bend as critical as my duty to justice and fairness if elected to Judge of the 268th District Court. I will promise to administer the law fairly at all times and will at all times be ever mindful of my duty and responsibility to the citizens of Fort Bend County to ensure a fair and just Court providing value for all the citizens of this county. Retiring an incumbent that refuses to retire is a tough job and I need your vote to bring fairness and justice back to the 268th.

Motivation

I would like to bring honor and integrity back to this court. My opponent has received a public censure from the State Commission on Judicial Conduct (Judicial Inquiry No. 75) because of his "bully" behavior at a deposition he was called to give. Upon the completion of his oral deposition, he ordered his armed bailiffs to confiscate the videographers videotape and the court reporter's audiotape of the deposition. On October 25, 1999 the Commission concluded that the incumbent has knowingly exceeded his authority and its decision was an Order of Public Censure condemning his actions. This level of sanctions the last before being removed from office. It is the most serious and worst thing that can happen to a Judge, short of being removed from office.
